Air Filter Assembly

I’d welcome your suggestions to source an air filter assembly for the autolite 1V carburetor for a 1966 Bronco 170 ci. Everything I keep seeing is for a 2 barrel or 4 barrel. I’d prefer something classically styled and to stay away from the oil filter systems. Although the look of those, in my humble opinion, are better than a chrome disc.

Keep in mind you can modify the bigger opening to fit the smaller carb. A piece of sheet metal welded or even sealed and riveted to the bottom

Thank you but access to a welder or actually welding is well beyond my capabilities. I found the adapter plate on vintage inlines that should allow compatibility with most 14 inch air cleaners. Pricey at $75 but will save me a huge headache. Ha!

If you have the original carb on the Bronc', you should be able to put an original from a Mustang or Falcon - E-Bay is a good source to search, clean or new @ $100 - used / blemished @ $ 50 .
.
Falcon used same and typically list for less $$

Typical aftermarket small air cleaner run @ $ 30 ("Mr Gasket" etc)
.
have fun
