Hey everyone. I'm looking for an original Ford 240 il6 air filter housing. I'm restoring a 1966 Ford custom 500 and keeping it as original as possible.

Hey Mike, welcome! These are hard to come by. I've found stock-style filter housings on ebay. You have to keep checking listings. Keep in mind that any 1 barrel type filter for Chevy or Fords with the 240/300 engine will fit. I've had to compromise when I upgraded to a 2 barrel carb, and my 240 truck now has a factory filter housing that was originally on a '77 Jeep. It's not factory-correct, but no one would know the difference. Not suggesting you change the goal of original, just FYI. 
Also, replicas of the stickers that were on the original filter housing are on ebay also. The "240 CUBIC INCH" sticker on the valve cover is one. (I put it there instead of the air filter top.)
