Alloy Valve Covers

After a year of searching I finally found a pattern maker and a foundry to produce alloy valve covers, at a reasonalbe price. So if all goes well, I should have them in a few months. No price yet, but they should come in about the same as Clifford's, probably a little less.

Sign me up, you know I want one...

I was just about to go the clifford route... hate to spend my money there though... would much rather give it to you!

Can i ask what the benifit of an alloy valve cover vs a stock one would be? Would it dissipate heat quicker? Is it just the coolness factor? Not trying to be mean or any thing, just wondering.

Do you have an idea of what they'll look like? Fins? Name or logo?

Mike,get these valve covers asap. i'm a buyer. william :D :D

They will be finned and will resemble the old Edelbrock covers. Not sure about the wording, may make them plain, "Powered by Ford", or possibly "Ford Six Performance". :?:

Here's an old Edelbrock cover.

I had a hell of a time trying to install a Clifford V/C yesterday. The rear bolt hole was off a good 1/4" Anyone else have this problem?

i like the powered by ford option

another thought, have them blank with inserts that let people get whatever they want engraved?

The Edelbrock cover I have was not originally tapped for a PCV valve, are you planning to include that or not? Just curious.

Same question as Mustang6. Will there be a hole for a pcv?

I am not sure about the "Powered by Ford" since they had that on their covers. You might want to check into it.

Blank would be cool.
