Hi Folks !
I have a delco one wire alt. on my 200 and it's not working now. I want to switch to a ford unit but I'm not sure what to get. the delco unit worked fine when it was working but I don't like the bracket set up. I don't need alot of amps as the car is basically stock. any idea's ?

Thanks !
Brian

Ideas? Yup, but you'll need to decide if you want an early Ford external-regulated alternator with or without the FalconParts 1-wire regulator conversion, or if you want a later Ford internally-regulater alternator.

I really like my early Ford alternator with external regulator. I guess it depends on how much wiring you want to do, and/or how "stock appearing" you want it to be.

Lots of info here, do a search of all forums for "generator alternator swap" (minus the quotes) and you'll get 8 hits, among them:
