another cable conversion question.

Hi,

I ve read a lot throught the forum about Cable conversion.
This is something i ll have to do soon in order to put my 2v in place, so i m starting seeking for options.
I can now figure out quiet good how i ll do it. There is just one last question that s keep popping to mymind.

If using a lokar or a 69 stock cable pedal, how the kick down of the is going to be operated .
I ve been running for days with the kit down cable disconnected and the C4 is still shifting down via depression, but there s might be a good reason for ford to keep a cable linked to the C4.

Yes if you want the trans to downshift automaticly as in a passing situation you need it. Otherwise you tie lever up, and manuelly shift it.
