I was thinking about doing the same thing but with a 4BBL to 2BBL adapter I had in storage. Not a bad idea thought.

hillybillyhellcat, do it the right way. you are still putting all the flow through a 1 3/4 hole. see my post & do it the right way or buy a oz head from mike.

I realize you are trying to save money but to achieve maximium results you need to open up the log for proper flow & have a professional clean out the restrictions from the bowls & ports. good luck william

Well, its still better than a stock carb, plus its cheap and requires no machining. But anyways, it doesn't matter, if you read the post closely, you can see I've switched to the other side  , and couldn't really do this on a V8.

so what? its still an internal combustion engine, its still old-style pushrod and rocker arm operated, its still domestic, its still a Ford. So I don´t mind, and won´t blame you either.

You´ll find that carb swap in the Falcon Performance Handbook as well.
Pity I can´t get my hood closed with the 2100, so I´m stuck with my RBS
