Any success with Holley Blue?

I'm looking to upgrade my fuel delivery system and carb. Planning on a holley 2300 and either the mallory 4309 or an aeromotive comparative. Has anyone had any experience using the Holley Blue fuel pump? Or is there something better for about the same price?

I found some specs for it:
Flows 110 GPH (free flow)
Flows 88 GPH at 9 PSI

Will 9 psi be suitable for forced induciton?

Not a big fan of the Holley. If you fit one, it's imperative to use a return style regulator. That will probably cost more than the fuel pump!

FWIW, I believe a return regulator is good practice on any setup.

If you're running a turbo (or S/C) then the Holley Blue will not work.
Unless of course you only want to make 3lbs. of boost.
Then it would work just fine.
The pump must be able to pump fuel at pressures that are 6psi greater than your boost pressure or you won't get any fuel into the carb.
This is assuming a blow-thru setup of course.

We're running a Aeromotive Tsunami EFI pump to feed Kelly's Falcon. It's using the same Mallory 4309 regulator with a 1/2" feed & return lines.
Works just fine for both street and strip.
This pump is a little extreme for the average Inline 6, but Carter, MSD, among others make an Inline EFI pump that'll work great!

Already read it. Trust me, I really do use the search feature. I'll check out the tsunami pump, but I wasn't sure if the Holley Blue was going to be enough to get the thing going. Online it says that the max pressure the holley can put out is 14 psi. Why isn't this thr right number to consider? 8 or so psi is about where I was aiming for.
