Does anyone make a header for a crossflow that will take the T3 turbo with the rectangular 4 bolt flange?

is the crossflow head already finish for adapting the 200 ??????????????????? i want to do this setup with it !!!!!!!
wooohw realy great finish !!!!! i like detailing the engine bay !

Anlushac11 look ad the topic turbo mod , i,m just into making a exhaust kit for the six turbo , got the flanse ready for the head [ as is seen in the pic ] now i,m into making some tubing with a company who can make a prog for it , so when ready and fitting great , just load the prog and the right tubing is comming out of the manchine. i,m always into thinking for multiple making parts , always handy for later , maybe a option for a cross flow head , i,m into water and laser cutting, so making flans for head and turbo is no problem , after the hollidays i,m going to make more parts and put them up for this forum , only for six inline ,

Maybee. Most of them are ductile iron castings, which is betterIMO. I've got a big book full of later model aftermarket turbo cammers which do have a tube header. There isn't any real diffrence with the later types (x-flow ohv, and later sohc/dohc I6) except for the starter is no longer in the stock 200 I6 upper positon, and the bolt pattern is slightly different on the head. But all the centre spacings are the same.

2003 BA Falcon Turbos, early 80's cross-flows from Advanced Induction Technologies, Mike Vine, Turbo Technics, Hall Turbocharging and Normal Air-Garret all ran cast iron headers with TO3's. There were some water cooled turbos that Dick Johnston flirted with, but cast iron was generally it.


Aussies are custom builders, because you can never get the part you want off the shelf like you often can in the States. Aussie street machiners are instinctively the way Jack has become with his rides. Have a go, and keep on welding and machining until it works.

I eagerly await the results of your endeavours. I think the crossflow head would be a piece of cake to turbo as the setup is very similar to a blow through carb turbo setup some of the guys on Stangnet are working on. Plus since I can run the ducting over the engine I can use a cheap and readily available Mustang SVO or Thunderbird Turbo Coupe intercooler.
