Do I have to do anything for them to fit properly? Or is it simply remove old install the ARP and go?

You will have to recondition the rods and align hone the block when switching to the ARP hardware.

when switching to ARP rod bolts, i highly recommend rebuilding the rods, but you can do the job on the cheap and just replace the rods bolts. as for the mains, just remove the old bolts, and install the new studs. just remember to install the studs themselves finger tight, DO NOT torque them as the studs need a little room to move a bit when torquing the nuts down to prevent block damage.
