Autolite 1100 anti stall system

If I were to rebuild two Autolite 1100s for the tripower outer carbs, I would remove the choke mech of course. I plan to remove the choke butterflys altogether and plug the holes. I plan to plug the scv system. I'm just not sure what to do with the two antistall things.

I really dont see a down side to the things. Its not like they make the throttle take a full second to close or anything like that they just keep it from slamming shut and that seems like a good thing no matter how many carbs you have.

If you're running it on the outboard spots, and you're running progressive linkage, they don't need dashpots. Only the center carb needs the dashpot. IMHO

Just take them off, you don't need them in any case.

Ian, don't you mean disconnect the link? Taking them off will leave a big hole. You can just back the adjustment screw all the way out, this way the carb remains intact for later sale.
