Hi all. I just put on the duel headers and was wondering what a average cost for a duel 2 1/2" exhaust with 2 flowmasters should run me. I am gonna get some quotes and i have no clue for the range i should pay. I dont want to get overpriced to bad.

Thanks

Nazs

I just ran mine with 2" pipe and Dual Series 70 Flows for $420.00 installed with the pipes running back and over the axle and out Stock 65 GT tips through the valance.

Original quote was for a stock muffler for 235.00 and the flows were an added 170.00 plus or minus a few dollars....

Looks great won't know how it sounds for a little while yet....

I agree with Jimbo65. Thats about what my system cost with the Flowmasters as well. Except I didn't want to advertise the dual exhaust so I had chrome turn down tips mounted right up near the valance. You can see the mufflers from behind, but it doesn't scream dual exhaust. I was looking for a more sedate look. It sounds bad ass though.

what if you buy the all pipe (bends and all) and in my case a glass too and just have them install it ?

I've had duals put on quite a few cars but I have never paid over $200.00 for having them put on. I of course don't use flowmasters but not counting the price of the mufflers I wouldn't pay over $150.00 for the pipe, anything more is just a ripoff.

I have dual outlet headers on mine and ran true dual 2 1/2" pipes all the way out with 2 Flowmaster mufflers, and chrome exhaust tips for about $260 - BUT it was a friend of mine who did it, he can charge up to $350
I would get estimates, but I would NOT pay more than about $350 for it, but it is all about supply and demand => just depends on where you live!
