Back to the track!

One of the racetracks in the Phoenix area has re-opened under new management and has been opened for about 4 weeks now!! This was the track formerly known as Firebird Raceway for those keeping score. It is now called Wild Horse Pass Motorsports Park(http://www.racewildhorse.com). Went out today for a club day event. I was there as part of the Arizona Inliners but there were other clubs as well...all racing their own programs. There were only 5 of us inliners (actually one was a flathead V-8 but we include them with us inliners). The flathead wasn't able to make the call for eliminations so the four of us squared off. I took home the win! My best et of the day was a 15.04 at 88.87 mph. That run probably would have been a 14 something but I had 3/4 of a tank of gas in the car... :arg: The track is farther then where I used to go so I had no idea how much fuel I would need. Crosley was there with his Falcon running 15.20's and 15.30's and the other 2 inliners were slant six dragsters running mid to high 13's(Mike and Mark both run nearly identical setups as you will see below).

Congrats on the win Gene . Just like the old days Mean Gene the driving machine won.

My Falcon ran within .09 of it's best from Speedworld. Although it was slowing down as the day warmed up. With round one of eliminations , I was asleep on the light. Terrible R/T. It was a fun day

Sorry for the vid quality, but here's a short video of the "final" yesterday

Congrads Gene, You are the king of the lights.
14's will come shortly. Bill

I like your turbo setup First Fox! What size/type of turbo are you using on your 200?

I have a 200 that I am planning on using the turbo from a 1985 Thunderbird Turbo Coupe (Garrett) and blow through a Holley 2v but I have not been able to find the turbo map for it. I am thinking it will be enough to get me 6 - 8 lbs of boost to overcome the flow shortfalls of the log intake manifold. My goal is to double the stock power output of the 200.
