Bad luck at the track last night....

Car broke last night but it was nothing major, just a bad intake manifold gasket but I couldnt fix it at the track so I did this morning.

1st pass was a,

60' 2.19 1/8 mile 9.64 @ 73.30 mph 1/4 mile 15.07 @ 89.43 mph.

I rejetted it on my next pass because of my new hood scoop and cold air tray but it lunched the intake gasket when I shifted into 2nd and ran the rest of the track on 5 cylinders.....

That pass was a,

60' 2.15 1/8 mile 9.65 @ 72.59 1/4 mile 15.11 @ 88.94 mph.

Not bad for running on 5 cylinders!

not bad at all. you should be into the 14's easy, once everything is fixed and dialed in.

Serious question: Have you considered trying to buy an autolite 4100 off pony and seeing if you can duplicate Mraley's power gains?

The extra ~ 40 HP would plant you solidly in the 14's easily.
