BETTER NOW! Thoughts on new rebuilt engine (vent)

How big a difference? 
Night and day. I was feeling bad about the money I spent on that engine for a rebuild and it came out like doo-doo. The carb was bought and sitting on my bench so I bucked up, made some linkage and threw it on. Glad I did before going any further. It still has issues, thats alot of carb for a 205(?) with nothing more than a header on it. I also have 2.83 gears which doesn't help the party. Add to that I have AC, power brakes and steering and I'm about to throw a 130 amp alternator on it, I think it does pretty darned good!
I will try and take the old one apart and get pictures up so you can see what I was trying to make work.
