When comparing CFM ratings, keep in mind that IR systems are apples and oranges to a regular carb on a manifold. With sidedraft Webers, you might calculate over 1000CFM in total airflow for a 200 ci engine.
The other thing is that those are Constant Velocity (CV) carbs, so the opening corresponds to the airflow. It's harder to over carburate with CV's.
it's possible but IIRC the webers would fit with more modification, I like how simple he made it with 2 sets of 4 carbs and took teh outer carbs off and the spacing lookes just about right...
now jetting those carbs would be a pita... x6 but I'm sure it will make much mroe HP than any of our 3x1 or 2bbl setups... might be close to a good 180 RWHP if it was a different cam...
