block and tranny numbers

where can I find the block and tranny numbers on my 66 stang?

Check this post about DropOut's engine build 3rd picture down you can see were the numbers are just below the exhaust manifold you can also see the head numbers on the next one. For the trans it depends if it's an auto or stick. Auto had a metal tag on one of the servo bolts.

What do U have?
Some rear ends have a tag &/or stamped on the 'chunk", pumpkin, differential; or near it on the axel tube.
Gotta look & if confused contact ford w/yr, make, model.
o0OOPPps, I C now - 66 stang (IDK for them).
