blue smoke from tailpipe

I recently changed out my 1 barrell carburetor to a two barrell. Notice blue smoke coming from the tailpipe since switching the carb. Would the carb ncause this by dumping too much fuel?

blue smoke indicates oil burning. that can come from a variety of sources including the pcv valve, a bad transmission modulator valve, etc.
