I was at a yard yesterday and ran across an old Stang. It was pretty well gone with just a shell left. No major rust, except the rear portion of the rear clip had been cut off.
My question is the head was off so I could see the pistons and the cylinder bore. It was an I6, but the bore looked smaller than the bores I've seen on my parts car (same bore as a 200/250).
What was the bore of a 170 & 144?
I also saw a decent galaxy 500, round about a 72 (I think). Motorless ofcourse, but everything else was there and the interior was in great shape. My friend has pictures, I can get anyone that wants the link after he posts them.
