boring cylinders

What it the formula for figuring over boring? I mean how to you figure out the extra cubic inches when a cylinder is over bored (i.e. 040 over)? I know it's on someones website but I can't remember which one I saw it on. :LOL:

its those darn Schjeldahl brothers, they have a compression calculator that allows you to add the overbore to the calculator and then it tells you the size once you hit calculate

add your .040 over to the stock 3.68 to get 3.72 and then hit calculate (if you havent changed anything else) it says you have not got a 204.

It's just the area of a circle x height (stroke) x number of cylinders = cubic inches

area of a circle = (3.1416) x (radius squared)
