Break in oil

For any of you who might have taken a look at my 170 head rebuild, you may have noted that it turned into an engine rebuild. I'm about ready to put the crank and pistons back in, and intend to use a break in oil for start up and cam break in. I have two questions, for now. Can I cost the rings with just regular oil for installation, or do I need a break in oil for that. Second, what do you guys like for break in oil?

Regular oil is fine for the Cylinder Walls, Rings, Bearings, etc. Also regular oil is fine for break in as long as you add some ZZDP, and then there is the even better Brad Penn break in oils see the below link. Good luck
