Buck Tag Decoding

I am trying to decode the Buck (Build) Tag on my 66 Mustang Convertible. I have found that if it reads "Top-B" This means a black top. My reads "Top-S".??? I believe that there were only two colors of convertible tops that year but what does the "S" represent? Why would it not be a "W"?

Now this buck tag, is it the one tucked up under the hood attached to the inner fenderwell? I think I have some info on those at home. Information about those tags is not too common as they were used for assembly of the car and *usually* removed before sale. Most people get their color options from the door tag.

Yes the buck tag or build tags were screwed to the left side, just inside the engine bay under the hood. They were not put on all early mustangs produced - only the NJ plant. The problem is the door jam tag does not specify the color of the convertible top. The build tag can also provide information on any special options that the car was to be built with and served as a check point for the line workers.
