building a 2v 250 strong engine

Hi all,

too much info on these boards to take on board at the momant so i thought i would ask for your help

i have a problem with building a 250 2v up? what should i do any one got some great ideas on how to spend someone eleses money. were after a good reliable combanation.

OK heres afew suggestions.
Run 350 holley two barrel on stock manifold if you expect some fuel economy, a 500 two barrel will make more power but dont go any bigger than 210 degree @ .050 cam, solid is best BTW.
Divide off the centre exhaust port and run decent exhaust single 2.25 or bigger or dual if you prefer the different note.
Otherwise not much needs doing for an easy streetable engine. Bigger valves can be fitted but only if budget will allow, dont enlarge inlet ports, just clean up bowls, exhaust can be enlarged, but dont go too radical.
More can be done but you get into the realms of "juice sucker" if you do.
