well guys i know im new around here and made comments of a twin turbo i6 which is still possible but my motor caught fire today the carb has been flooding like crazy i mean its like a lake inside literally so i found a 67 ford mustang with a 302 and an auto which i hate autos but my 66 was my daily driver and its broken down up the road i had it towed last night i rebuilt the 1100 today but it still broke down again today i will have a 66 and a 67 the 66 i might just go ahead and chop up and drop in a 514 how cool is that or i may still do a high performance 6 i just want something different and im a true die hard ford lover i would never drive anthingelse id rather walk if anyone needs parts for a 66 i6 umm.. let me know my car is complete and in good shape theres a pic here http://shannonlee.freeservers.com/photo2.html the parts wont be available for a short while until i decide what to do but the 66 will be a body off restore now so thats cool and i will install new everything so if ya want used cheap parts let me know in a week or so and thanx for all the help u guys provided in a short time this is by far the best site i have ever been to keep up the good work and ill post soon

Mine almost caught fire...fuel sizzling on the hot exhaust from the bad float forced me to get a new carb and install a fire extinguisher where I can get at it. Scary to wathc it and not be able to stop it.

I looked at your web site pics...now was that "Pics Of Sweet Ass Mustangs" or Pics Of Sweet "Ass Mustangs".....

I was in a squadron where when the CO turned 40 he threatened all the junior officers that he better not have a surprise party in the ready room on cruise. But if it did happen all he wanted was a Big Ass Cake.

Well the ship's bakers outid themselves and created a Huge "Ass Cake" that looked like a moon sticking through the table...Complete with hair and all...

Still chuckle about that...

drop in a 514 how cool is that

umm thats big though I was watching for 1000 something you can buy a stroker kit for a 460 and have it bored 30 over I believe and it makes it a 545.... pretty crazy....

Not to bust your bubble but that many cubes is MUCH to heavy for your front end (if you can even get it to fit).

You would have to so some serious suspension modifications in order to support that weight as well as eliminating any steering problems (under steering).

BUT it would be cool!
