yea, got a bellhousing from the yard, C7ZA with a 2 above the ford oval, not a 1 or a 3 like on this site http://www.inlinepages.com/drivetrain/history.html
my clutch fork is a 67 clutch fork with the wire retainer
I also have a 66 bellhousing with the wire retainer setup and was wondering if i could take the clutch pivot out of the 66 housing and put it into the 67, it looks like it would work to me, but i just want to make sure
Here are the pictures

The fork pivot looks very similar to the wire clip one on the site

I also have a 66 bellhousing with a wire retainer, the same kind as on the fork, is there a way i can take the pivot out of the 66 housing and put it into the 67

Here's my 67 fork

and if it can be used like i was describing above, how am i supposed to remove the pivot from the housing?

I am a little confused as to why you want to swap the pivot. Just make sure there aren't any cracks in the pivot, esp where it makes the 90 degree bend.

the reason being, i have a 67 clutch fork with the wire retainer, the 67 bell i have is the wire clip type, i have a 66bellhousing that has the wire retained pivot, and i'm wanting to take the pivot from the 66 and put it into the 67, i think the only way to do it is to drill the pivots out, correct? and then bolt them back in

the forks are different, the pivot point is in a different location between the 66 and 67 fork, but they are the same width at the pivot point and the pivot points are the same size, the ones i have just happen to be of the two different types
