cam and valve springs??

What cam and valve springs do i need for my engine?? Here is what i have so far 66 block decked 10 , 79 head milled 40 hooker super comp headers , stock pistons stock bore, Cam i was recommended was clay smith 264/274 110 L/C looking for good street driver. trans will be manual 3 spd now, will be 5 spd . Also have 3- 1 brl intake for future but will be running larger 1 brl to get car running. May buy new style head at later time. What valve springs are best stock , 289 or 302?? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

You didn't say what motor you have??? is it the 200 you have in the other post?? or a 289/302???? where are you located is the motor an Ozy?? I'm think so as you say you have a 3x1 intake for it... and all U.S. 200's have the intergrated intake to the head (intake molded to the head)... or do you have the 3X1 offy intake adptor???

8) pick a cam that works in the 1000-5000 rpm range. i like cams with as much lift as i can get for the duration. as for springs, get the ones the cam grinder recommends.
