Parked the car in the garage and now it won't start.
I was fisrt told it wasnt get any spark but checked all out and it does then i was told it was the fuel pump but i can hear it working (electric) i checked the oil and the dip stick smells like petrol so now i'm told it's

the computer telling the injectors to constenly telling the injectors to stay open
atleast one of the injectors are stuffed
no compresion
or one of the rings are stuffed

i was told to change the oil and oil filter and to do a compresion test but without the fuel pump, how much compresion should there be each cylinder without petroland has this ever happened to anyone else.

any info to help would be great.

Forget about the oil for now. Compression should be tested over three-four crankings, about 120 PSI minimum to be fairly happy. Differences of more than 10% between cylinders (especially adjacent ones) infers head sealing issues.

About a tablespoon of oil is required per cylinder for a wet test; if the pressure rises by more than 10 pounds, ring/bore wear issues are present.

Imitation (knock-off) injectors are available, often for less than the cost of overhauling the present crop. It may be your best quick fix, if they are the issue.

Adam.

thank you for the info i will chekc it and tell you how it went

Hopefully it'll be good news on the cylinders. Maybe change the oil sooner than later if it seems thin. But right now, don't sweat on it.

If you can smell petrol in the oil strongly.
Dont start the engine. A large explosion can occur if the fuel in the sump is ignited.
Change the oil for some cheap stuff with the cheap oil filter to match.
Try for spark at the spark at the spark plug, if OK look no further with the ignition system.
If no spark at the plug the find out why. Spark could be at the coil but lost before reaching the spark plug.
Rectify to achieve spark at the plugs the look at the fuel system.
Remove some spark plugs. If soaked with petrol. Remove all disable spark system and disconnect all fuel injectors.
Crank the engine at full throttle for approximately one minute to clear out the engine.
Refit cleaned/new spark plugs and crank at full throttle for approximately thirty seconds. This will ignite any residual fuel if any left in there.
Of course, if engine starts. runs engine at fast idle type speeds, i.e. 1500/2000 rpm to clear out engine.
If still no start. Hook up fuel injectors and crank engine.
Hopefully engine will now start.
If no start, remove spark plugs and look for fuel residue on spark plugs.
If no fuel, then further fuel system investigation is required.
This is a simple rundown of a no start procedure. But your car has probably started by now.

the only thing i've had time to do was change the spark plugs and oil (shity week been run off my feet).
the oil is black and the park plugs were abit black, i changed the oil not so long ago should i try turning the car on or wait till i have more time and do all the other stuff you guys said to do?
