I'm tired and lazy today. Can I swap my Load-a-Matic distributor for the later 67 centrifical advance and retain my SCV Autolite 1100 carb? Problems with son's Mustang.

Just to answer your question for someone else wanting to know.

You can swap out the LOM distributor for a later model centrifugal advance unit and still use the Autolite 1100 with SCV.
You just can't do it the other way around, swap out an Autolite 1100 without SCV and keep a LOM distributor. Won't work.

Thanks rocklord! I was pretty sure, but needed to get this fixed fast for the kid till school lets out. Stuck points back in and good to go. I'll start rounding up the DSII parts and convert this summer.

Have a similar question. Can I use a 68 stock dizzy distributor with a weber 32/36 kit? I thought I read that the load o matic changed around 67 or 68? maybe added centrifugal advance?

68 was when they went to the centrifical and vacuum advance distributor. You'll be fine with it and the Weber.
