I am trying to id a carb so I can buy a rebuild kit for it. It is on a 1968 200 6cyl motor and the only thing I can find for a number is 5 stamped on the side it does have FoMoCo also stamped on it and a rebuilt sticker. I have an old Autolight 1100 1965 model and this lookes very much the same except for a couple little differences .Any idea where to look to tell what I have any help appreciated . :hmmm:

you have an autolite 1100. assuming that you still have the oem dizzy the major difference btwn the two is the spark control valve(scv). it has to do with the loadomatic dizzy we r lucky we don t have that good luck with the car

The basic body of all the 1100's is the same. What varies is some have a what looks like 2 accelerator pumps and some only have one. One of the two is just a dashpot to keep the throttle from slamming shut too fast on AT cars. Most people have said they have not seen much difference with or without it. Other variable is the choke. The auto chokes had more stuff sticking out the one side and the choke coil housing. Manual chokes had very little stuff on the one side. There were also different venturi sizes but none of that matters as far as the kit goes, ya get all the parts for all the variants in the kits.
