Ok I am fairly new to Holley carbs (odd, I know) so I have a few questions about them that I think would be usefull for a lot of people on here.
1) What the heck did I buy on eBay!?!?
What it was said to be: Guy said it was a 390cfm, VAC Seconds, ELEC Choke.
Numbers, on the body:
6R 1269 B
603 ECZ V
LIST 1273
on the bace: 12R-1631B
on the Metering Block (Mains):
34-R-1535 B 4
158
on the Metering Block (Seconds):
34-R-1535 B 1
1850 <-"0" like a deg symbol
I know that it has VAC seconds, but I have never seen a carb with VAC Seconds with a metering block?
2) What Rebuild kit do I need to get?
It is going on a 300 with 4bbl Offy intake and Long tubes and Stock cam (for now).
3) What size power valve do I put in the secondary metering plate? Do I use the same size as the Mains? Holley has good insite on the mains.
4) Where should I start with on the Jets? Mains = #44s, Secondarys = #46s??
5) Can I tell from the casting numbers if I have the power valve blowout check ball?
