I need help making linkage for a holley 2300 on my 250 head with the clifford adaptor. my old linkage wont work because the 200 head is skinny and it put my linkage 1 inch short. anyone have any luck withit and how to setup. i dont want to use a cable. what do you guys use.

A picture would help to get some ideas going if no one else has this same setup. I went through many different setups trying to get my linkage right when I upgraded to a 2bbl with my '68 200. I used one adapter for a while made from two pieces of aluminum flat stock attached to the old accelerator linkage and carburetor throttle, but it was always troublesome. I finally went with a cable setup and this is the best I have found. Try to post a picture so we can see the exact setup.

i ended up going the cable route. and it looks better then i anticipated. i bought a 36' from summit racing, the brand is Lagoos. works great and looks pitty damn good too. I came to the conclusion it is impossible to do so on a holley 2300 and achieve full thottle. i had a setup and was only able to get 1/2 to 3/4. a cable is the way to go. Thanks guys
