Hey all,
I have a 62 Falcon with a stock 144 have been having carb issues since nabbing a rebuilt 1909 from a local parts store. They won't take it back, and I am completely fed up with getting a replacement (I've been through 3). I have been reading on here about carb swaps you can do which require little to no modification, and I was wondering about one in particular. Can I successfully swap an Autolite 1100 for the original Holley 1909 without changing my stock setup much? Will it bolt to my intake, and will I have to change location of fuel inlet and vacuum lines? Can someone out there please HELP??!! Some links with info or some pictures of an Autolite 1100 would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
