carbs and emissions

hello gang,
i just picked up a 79 Granada. odo claims 67000 miles. starts up great. but will not drive. just bogs and chuffs and dies under the slightest load.

i drove it home about 20 miles. next day the bogging started. tank was full of trash. i cleaned the tank. installed inline wix 33003 filter. pickup tube in tank has no sock put pretty sure all crap is out of tank. carb was full of crud. cleaned it out. same effect;.
i have two questions. what spacer and gaslet set up should this one barrel have? and can i remove the emissions fairly easily.

I AM BACK TO STMBLING AND OVER RUNS RICH ON CYL1 2 3. I CURRENTLY REPLACED THE CARB WITH A NEW ONE FROM EBAY. I LOST THE CHECK BALL FOR THE POWER VALVE ON THE OLD CARB. SO NEW CARB AND CLEANED THE PLUGS. RAN OK FOR AWHILE. CHECK PLUGS AND FOUND FIRST THREE FOULED AGAIN. IM CURIOUS. DOES DURASPARK2 CONTROL WHICH CYL FIRES??? COULD THAT MODULE BE GIVING ME PROBLEMS. AND HOW TO TEST FOR IT???? I PULL THE PLUG WIRE FOR THEOSE CYL AND NOT MUCH CHANGES. ALSO WHAT IS A GOOD VACUMM FOR MY VAC ADVANCE???

Is the catalytic converter still on the car?

Nope
It was plugged.. I broke up the catalyst material and emptied the cat out.

And it ran twenty miles pretty well with just a stumble of idle
