What is the Carburetor plate called on a 1966 Ford 200 with a 1 barrel carb that has the water inlet/outlet for the heater?

Mine is corroded and I need to find a replacement. Anyone have any ideas where to find this part and perhaps the name and part #?

Now it is bypassed. perhaps it doesn't really matter?

Thanks.

I bypassed mine because it was causing the carb to heat up too much and boil the fuel . Where is it corroded?

Probably not depending on where you live. If it is a relatively warm area it won't be a problem. Unless it gets real hot, then you need it to keep a consistent temp at the carb.

Check out NPD (National Parts Depot). They have original and repro parts. However, it is very expensive new. Better to look for it used at a junkyard or on line. "Carburetor Heater Plate".
