carter rbs

would it fit on a tripower setup, im thiking it would be a very tight fit with my holley 1904s, does the carter has a similar linkage as the holleys?

Howdy Back:

I don't think an RBS will work for a center carb on a tri-power intake, for several reasons; First is that, while being relatively short it is a long carb, with an offset fuel bowl. And, IIRC the linkage is a side pull. I guess it is possible to turn an RBS sideways, with the bowl away from the engine. What is your goal?

As CZLN6 mentioned it may not fit. The problem is often getting the linkage to fit. A RBS with comparative higher CFM may be a good choice for the primary/center TriPower setup. The later six' RBS has the odd lower bowl but isn't much bigger than the 1904's. Tell us how it works ...

I briefly ran a 2300 series 2Bbl with unused 1100's with outer ports blocked .
