All Small Six Carter YF air cleaner adapter

Vintage inlines has a perfect adapter for adding an air cleaner to a Carter yf!!!

I purchased one and it won’t fit on my YFA. It hits the electric choke and won’t seat properly..

never mind I got it to fit.. do you use the supplied rod ? What goes in the other hole to hold plate on ? Thanks

I used a different rod I had that fit a little better. And actually didn’t screw anything into that other hole because the screw I had was too short, but doesn’t seem to be any problem.

I’m curious why you have Pcv in front.

Not sure his reasoning, but a PCV in the front generally sucks less oil out of the head than one in the rear due to the slight rearward angle the engine sits at. This means less oil going into the intake.

Is this adapter for the narrow-neck carbs that use a clamp-on base?
