Carter YF Manual Choke?

I'm putting a 71 maverick 200 engine into my 63 falcon. It has a Carter YF carb with automatic choke tied to the exhaust manifold. I'm switching to headers. Is a manual choke available for the Carter YF? Anyone know where to get the parts?

Pony carburetors has a kit for header adaption to the climate choke carters and autolite carburetors.. i got one i belive it costs about 28.00 dollars and it just bolts right up to the carb and header so that it can transfer heat and everything to the carbs choke. their website is www.ponycarbs.com go their and get thier number give them a call they should be able to hook you right up..

Napa has a manual choke conversion kit. A couple actually, one for truck applications & one intended for cars. Don't remember what the prices are. I've got one on my truck (2100 2bbl) & 1 on my '65 (YF). Pretty simple & easy to use.
