Carter YF

I have a Carter YF with Motorcraft tag # D5DE GA. Does anyone know if this is a EGR or non-EGR carb. I seem to be having a richness problem and am wondering if this carb is jetted for EGR. Thanks in advance :

mine has an EGR port...I dont have the EGR hooked up at all though, and i also have a bit of a richness problem.

If I were to go looking for a Carter YF (rebuilt, from the parts store, of course) should I be looking for something for a late 60s Ford truck with the 300? When did they start installing EGRs anyhow?

what happens if u hook up the EGR port to direct manifold vacuum..i dont notice any difference...might not be any difference, but i dont want to run any richer or screw anything up at all. The carter YF is the carb without all the emissions junk...the YFA is the carb u dont want, but both used the EGR valve...i dont know of one that never used the EGR.

IF I get to hooking my CARTER YF up today...can you tell me where vaccuum lines go? I am all messed up on vacuum....
