Classic inlines mechanical fuel pump question

I was looking at the airtex mechanical fuel pump on classic inlines it says 6.5 psi is that correct? Since the stock is only 3-4 psi? And is that enough to run a performance 200 engine with a 2 barrell autolite 1.14?

The Pump is fine , but use a regulator , regardless of the pump , its a Falcon 6 thing the factory pumps PULSE and the carbs only like 4.5 max

yep, if you ( and you should ) install a regulator you could crank it up to say 5.5 , but that is all a 6 needs as long as it is a good supply

FSD, what regulator have you had the best luck with???

I had a terrible flooding problem with my Motorcraft 1v in my Mustang, gas all over the carb. Bought a Mr. Gasket #9710 Fuel Pressure Regulator from the local parts store. Immediately solved the problem. I have mine set on 3.5, works great. Here's a photo for reference.
