Would depend on how the motor is put together as a whole, for reference I have a 292/292 solid cam in my motor and with 11.0:1 compression, manual trans and a 4.11:1 rear axle it drives like a pussycat, no bad manners at all
I'm just thinking a little more on my build and got to looking at that cam thinking if it would work for my build.
What I am going for right now is:
Al head (hoping for 56 cc chambers)
1.6 roller tip rockers
10.1:1 CR ( trying to keep dynamic CR at 8.1 max)
Dish Pistons
Stock timing chain
600cfm Holley vac 2nd
DSII dist
3.00 gears( for the time being till I go to 3.55)
T5 3.97 first gear.
Still thinking out some stuff but for the most part these are things that are set in stone. However, one the head comes in it will determine Deck height and Pistons used.
