does anyone know how much space there is between the intake log and the hood on a 1967 ford falcon 200 ci. or does anyone know an easy way of measureing this. Thanks
Use the lump of clay trick. Make four or five clay bratwursts and stick them (upright) to the intake, close the hood and measure the result. Plumbers putty works great, too.
Rick(wrench)
You can also use the clump of clay and a stick/pencil. Mark the pencil where it sticks into the clay, shut the hood, and then check the pencil. If it moved into the clay (hit the hood), you won't be able to see the mark anymore. This may be a little easier than the clay bratwurst I'd probably have half of the bratwursts stick to the hood
