Clifford Headers - Throttle Rod

I had the Clifford headers installed. Now I need to figure out what to do about the throttle rod hitting the headers. I think from reading the easiest solution is to bend the rod. Is this true? Other suggestions? Would anyone have a picture of a completed setup? Thanks much!

One suggestion would be to adapt a throttle pedal, cable, and bracket from a later model car like a Fairmont/Fox Mustang, a Maverick, or a Granada and do away with your linkage rods.

Do a search on it - there are a lot of posts/pictures over the past years.
