coils???

I went to the part store and scored a coil for cump change...

its a Accell Super Stock... can I run this with my stock Dizzy?

I didnt get any docks with the coild and the box is damaged due to a hole in a oil bottle....

Yes...and no.

I assume this is for the 1960 Falcon? If so, the hotter coil (not sure of voltage for it) may burn through your points quicker then normal if you are still running a stock ignition. If you're running pertronix or DS2, no issues.

The only other thing is you may have to cut a new coil wire as the connection on the coil may be different. I don't know enough about the Accel stuff for that.

I believe it's a standard 12V coil, so you need to bypass the resistive wire.

OH yeah...that thing.

My take on that is to get a multi meter and test your coil "+" wire. I'm supposed to have a resistor wire as well, but some where along the way it has been replaced and I'm getting a full 12V at the coil with stock wiring harness.
