Coils

I have a 170 from a 1965 Mustang and I am switching it out for a 1968 200.I am looking at the mounting holes on both and they are not the same.In the 200 the holes are very wide apart if indeed there are suppose to be two and in the 170 they are closer together and the bracket seems to be integral of the coil.
Any comments would be appreciated>

The strap changed, IIRC.

Early ones had a saddle clamp with tension screw behind, later units had a loop type bracket with just an upper tab.

FWIW, my original coil strap fit on my '66 block.
