Cold Air Induction

In my quest for quicker et's at the dragstrip I bought and installed a cold air package from classicinlines. I wasn't sure if I was going to be able to find an unobstructed location using the mounting plate from the kit but it all worked out. I did have to modify the mounting plate to fit the contours of my radiator support. It's a good looking setup. I will only be using this at the track as I have no air filter in this setup by design. I will be going to the track next weekend so I'll do some before and after passes to see what the difference is. I'm hoping for one to two tenths improvement.

Gene, looks great. Since your area of the country is so hot you should be feeding the engine air 60 degrees cooler & with some ram affect when moving. Bill

Looks good Gene!!

I picked up almost 3/10 and 1 mph when I sealed my carb to the scoop and pulled the filter and installed a K&N stub stack.

I'm going to guess you will pick up almost 2/10ths! :D

Later,

Doug
