compression checking my 250... how do these #'s look?

I checked my compression and I got 120-130 on all 6.
The gauge I used didn’t hold pressure, I think the valve in it was letting the engine suck some of the pressure out so I just watched the gauge and saw where it peaked on each stroke.
I know its not optimal, but if these #'s are anywhere close to good I'm OK with it… they are consistent, that is a plus.
I don't have the specs so I don't know how good or bad that is but it is at least consistent.
Anybody got the specs for a '76 era 250?

Somebody may tell me that I need to go get another gauge. I'm OK with that too.

Any wisdom?

Over 100 and +/- 10 should still be a good runner on most motors.

My gauge has a valve in it just like a tire. The first time I used it something got stuck in it so it didnt hold pressure. I used a tool for removing the stem to take it apart and clean it. May be worth checking to see if yours has the same thing and it just needs to be cleaned but it sounds like you got decent readings as is.
