ok I am looking to convert one of my crossflow heads (HF4) to a BBC roller rocker setup. is this something simple for a machine shop to do or is this a major PITA?
I have BBC rockers on my 460 they also bolt to the the crossflow head
only thing with the bbc rockers is the 1.72 ratio and a smidgen longer from fulcrum to tip
now on the rockers...I notice some places list same PN for BBC and clevo rockers....and some list a pn for the little guideplates....is there any perferred source for the rockers? (mind you I am in the states so crow stuff is a little hard to get hands on)
I didnt drill for larger studs as the kit comes with some trick conversion studs
The rocker kit thats on my 460 are stainless 1.72 big block chev units made by Pro Comp that come with a trick little guide plate and 5/16 to 7/16 stud that allows them to be bolted on without machining
these will bolt onto 250 xflo and clevelands aswell
