Does anyone know the standard tolerances for the main and big-end crank journals on a 1969 250cid?

I managed to find these specs in an old post:
Main bearing journals:2.2482" - 2.2490", out of round limit 0.0006"
Main journal run out limit:0.002" max
Main journal run out service limit:0.005"
Main Bearing thrust face run out limit:0.001" max
Rod bearing journals:2.1232" - 2.1240", out of round limit 0.0006"

And also

Main journal 2.3982"-2.3990"
:?:

I think the 250 has larger diameter mains, so is the latter the size of 250 main journals?

cheers

At the risk of name dropping yet again, go no further than the ACL engine man, AlloyDave from New Zealand, the only other Kiwi here!

There is a download file. It is a .exe file, but won't be a problem!

The guy can find anything.

ACL is an offshoot of the old Repco group of companies, and has tie-ups with Mahale, the piston company, and makes some awesome quality gear. There rang is rationalised, and many core units are cut from similar blanks. There main claim is in organising cost effective lo-run production for Australasian market. They supply many OEM items too.

The other option is finding the correct manual. Ok, it's an expense, but here's some discussion on just finding the Aussie six in line book.

Just downloaded the ACL catalogue for Windows. That is one excellent catalogue!!
I'm going to be browsing that for hours!
