Hi, i have a standard XF engine in my ski boat.

Now, i just rang rolco and they can't give me a carby wedge for my standard manifold and standard carby. So i need to get a holley - damn.

My question is this:
This manifold claims to fit BOTH ironhead and alloyhead crossflows:

And so, wouldn't that mean that this manifold for an iron head would also fit an alloy head?

Or is that just wishful thinking.

Thanks for the (anticipated) help

the first one is for an alloy head and the second one for a iron head, have a close look at the pictures, the mounting flange is completely different between the 2

Are you just wanting to cant the carby?

Weld up the four stud holes, mill the pad at desired angle, mark and redrill studs appropriately. Space off the manifold with a piece of billet, Corian or phenolic (Bakelite) if needed.

Any place that rebuilds and welds heads can clag up the carby bolt holes and surface your manifold as desired.

Loving the weather?

Sounds awesome - can you recommend any shops around here that can do it for me?

any engine rebuilding shop should be able to do it. The guy who welds the head will thank you for it!

Try C&B Performance Reconditioning in Seven Hills. Just off Powers Rd. Not desperately cheap but reliable and they have good eyesight.
