cylinder head question

Ok today I got a compression test and I have no compression in cylinder #6 all the other 5 cylinders have a 175. What should I do.

Can you beg or borrow a "bore scope"? This is like a little self lighted eye on a stick, which may be fed into the spark plug recess. Turn the motor to 180° opposite TDC first.

It'll help you look for damage to the cylinder walls or piston crown. Should neither appear to be at fault, suspect a damaged or stuck valve.

Cheers, Adam.

8) with zero compression in one cylinder there are only a few possibilities that pop up;

1: you have a hole in the piston

2: you have a burnt valve, usually the exhaust valve, that will look like it has a chunk bitten out of it.

3: you have a window in the cylinder wall.

4: your compression gauge went bad at the wrong time.

in any case the cylinder head has to come off.

I just check the receipt and found out I did get a vavle job. Could a rocker arm or push rod be bad

Well I finale got the head fix and man the car runs a lot smoother and has more now. Now all 6 cylinder has a 175 cp.
