Hello,
I have been sitting on a rebuilt Dag. 4-speed trans for a Mustang. This past weekend I picked up a Falcon/Ranchero version A N D a Falcon van unit. Until now, I never knew the van version existed. I plan on opening them to see the internals before considering passing them on. Also, with that said I have parts and pieces for these transmissions and can rebuild them before a sale if necessary. If anyone here has had interest in one of these transmissions in the past, contact me publicly or privately and I will respond!

Dagenham, its a suburb of London UK. Versions of the transmission were widely used. V6 capris, transit vans, UK zephyrs, mustangs etc. Strong enough for up to about 3litre torque. Some were short, some had integral shifts, some had column shifts. Not seen much here in Australia. Here we had the Ford Toploader, or our own Borg Warner single rail box. Borg Warner had a factory in Albury NSW.

Hi - I have been looking for one of these to put in a 1966 Mustang with a 200 straight six. I want to swap out the original 3-speed.

You will need the bellhousing that goes with the Dagenheim transmission. The bolt pattern for the Dagenheim is different than the 2.77 or 3.03.

.
IF the existing tranny is the 'Peanut" non-syncro first gear 2.77 tranny, it should bolt right in, a simple upgrade for the small six car.
.
If the '66 has the later used - larger 'Toploader 3.03' 3 speed, the Dagenham would need the smaller stepped FW with the Dag BH and would be a not-too-great upgrade as the Dagenham is much less robust than the Toploader.
.
on the '63, the Dagenham used a special shifter hump for clearance
.

2.77 and Dagenham

Brad66,
I have all the parts needed for the conversion including a bellhousing if needed! Where are you located? I am in San Diego. Also, what year and model of car?
Mike
